I will be re-watching movies from my childhood that i remember being "the best", and writing about how my views of them have changed (if at all).

Any ideas?
After seeing how many movies i was neglecting from the wiki, i was wondering if any of you had any suggestions for some of the movies i should watch. I would like to be sure i am not missing any movie that is worth watching many times over.
You know I haven't watched it recently, but I remember loving The Labyrinth as a kid. I'm sure it'd be a bit ridiculous, but what happy kid nostalgia isn't? Also, another movie that has ridiculous puppets in it, check out The Dark Crystal, that was also another one I loved. ...I'm noticing a creepy puppet trend here.
I know this blog does not really cover newer movies however I just watched X Men first class. Wow it was one of the finest "super hero" movies I have seen. This movie in my opinion shames all the latest X Men movies released.
I have and love the creepy puppet movies referenced above. The other two I would highly recommend is THE SAND LOT and Walt Disney's HOLES. Both are childhood classics and still great fun in my early thirties.

Interesting topic for a blog. I have often gone back and watched old tv shows and movies only find out that I don't view them in the same light as I once did. Check out Smokey and the Bandit!

If so i had never seen the movie, nor am i sure how child friendly it is; However, it does look like it is a very good movie that is worth watching. Thank you for the suggestion.
